The Beacon Warranty
LIMITED WARRANTY
Unless specified otherwise, all items, parts and materials shall be new. Beacon warrants the work and materials to be free of defects and defects from installation for a period of one year. The limited warranty period commences as of the date the work is accepted by you. Beacon, at its sole cost and expense, will replace or repair any work or materials which prove to be defective. All limited warranty claims must be made in writing to Beacon within the one year period.
Fixtures provided by you are expressly excluded from any warranty coverage by Beacon. Building drains, sewer lines, or any other buried piping are expressly excluded from any warranty coverage by Beacon unless video inspection has been done by Beacon and the work falls under Beacon’s normal warranty.
Neglect or misuse by you of the work or materials, your failure to act in a timely manner to notify Beacon of the existence of a limited warranty claim or the repair of alteration of any work performed by Beacon for work and materials covered under this limited warranty by a party other than Beacon will automatically void this limited warranty.
