There is no longer a need to go with the traditional dig a trench and replace old pipes, which is VERY expensive. The “Perma-Liner System” is a fairly new pipe repair option that comes with a 50 yr. manufacturer warranty.
A coating of unique materials is placed within the main sewer pipeline and launched into the lateral creating a water tight seal at the main / lateral connection point. The lateral is also lined at the same time correcting any damaged pipe sections and preventing roots from growing into the pipeline.
Perma-Liner Epoxy Resins are much stronger and provide better chemical resistance than Polyester Resins. The actual design life is much higher for Perma-Liner Epoxy Resins. The design life according to engineers is 80 years plus.
