“My wife and I thank you exceedingly for the professional, courteous and prompt emergency service your company, and specifically your employee Mike rendered to us late at night… An under-sink hot water plastic shut-off valve failed and allowed the ½” copper supply pipe to spew water into a bathroom vanity, the floor and adjacent hallway carpet before I could get to the water shutoff gate valve in the garage. We were able to do the mopping up and dispose of the water damaged commodities while drying the salvageable items. It was very obvious that we needed professional help to replace the valve and restore the water supply to our home. Our call to Beacon Plumbing was answered courteously and the dispatcher advised the on-call technician should call within 15 minutes, but if the call was not received to call the dispatcher again. The on-call Mike called in about 10 minutes and after we discussed the nature of the problem and he said he could be our home within the hour. He arrived before the hour had elapsed, surveyed the problem and efficiently set about making the repair. I requested his opinion about replacing the plastic valve on the cold supply while he was doing the hot supply and he agreed it would be a wise thing to do so that was also done. We were impressed with mike’s pleasant calm and professional manner and the quick but thorough service he performed for us when he would likely much rather have been comfortably at home instead of on our bathroom floor! Our experience… leads us to believe that the ethics and customer relations philosophy, as well as trade specific training, have been executed by your company to a high degree of excellence…We are hopeful that we do not require emergency service in the future, but it is comforting to know it is available should the need arise.”
